Spotlight Wednesday! - iScrap Scrapbooking Discussion

In the "spotlight" hehe. Almost a month ago I got a PM congratulating me for being in the spotlight. I looked around a bit on the site and couldn't quite figure it out. Today I had some time and I found it. Here I am the 3rd one down is mine. whoo hooo. Sometimes I'm a little slow.

Year in Review - Challenge #13

This challenge was to capture what you are looking forward to most about spring. This one is maybe a bit more about my husband, but that's OK. I'm pretty sure he counts down the days until spring training and the start of baseball season. It's a long day to head up to the city for a SF Giants game, but last year we discovered the fun of going to minor league games. They are totally low key, have fun little games between innings, but old school style, no fancy cable car races here.... it's wooden horse heads on sticks that race behind the fence... oh ya that's what I'm talking about ;), beer batters, double double batter, bingo, the list goes on. It's fun I tell ya!! Plus it doesn't cost all that much so if we only feel like staying for half a game that's alright too. So here's my layout to capture spring which can only mean one thing!.... Batter Up!

Puppy - Play Hard

I've got a pile of iScrap challenges I "should" be working on AND we just got back from visiting family and I really want to capture some of those memories too, AND to top it off we've spent this week sick not to mention our house is still not back together. So I was in the mood for something really light and and I've had these puppy pics on my desk for a couple of weeks so I figured I might be able to muster enough energy for a quick puppy layout. Here's what I pulled together.

Anniversary Cards

Normally I'm not a big fan of celebrating other's anniversaries. However, after my collection of $1 studio g stamps has grown and I've seen examples of the bride and groom stamps in use, I was inspired. Coupled with a fancy sheet of making memories paper and papertrey ink circles these are the cards I came up with just in time for our friends 1st wedding anniversary.

Happy Cinco De Mayo

Which in our house means Happy Birthday Senor Kyle. Here's the card I made for him. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and didn't have nearly enough time to work on it. But I did get a chance to play a bit with a new cupcake stamp, this one from inque.
