Brotherly Love

It's not been a good week with the post office, yesterday it was totally my fault not getting Jen's card in the mail, but then my brother's birthday package showed back up at our door!!!  Seriously!!!?    Somehow the address label I'd taped on multiple times had been torn off.   So despite paying for upgraded shipping so it would get there well in time for his b-day today...  well it won't :(   So Adam if you are reading this Happy Birthday and here's a preview of the mail that should be coming your way.   *sigh*.

I've really been trying to get my act together and be more prepared. I used to be so on top of things, but lately I've been seriously slipping. I actually made cards for this months events weeks ahead of time it was getting them into the mail that proved to be problematic... gah... well really I'm trying, does that count for something? Well I didn't manage to do as much as I planned to be sent off with the card but the card is done so HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN, it's your holiday!!! Mini Album - Half Moon Bay

This last weekend we took a little mini trip up to half moon bay for valentines weekend. Kyle had 4 days off and I decided to take it off with him. This is the last holiday until may and we both really needed it. I was really sick over Christmas and didn't really feel like I got a break and he's been really worn out by work so we just needed a relaxing get away. This was perfect. Birthday Card

Birthday card for a friend.   It's for a friend that I've been pen pals with for since high school, we met in band camp, yeah yeah...   I've been really bad lately about writing so I wanted to make sure I didn't forget her birthday this year.   So here's the card I sent off.    I've been in a HUGE pink mood lately and am loving all the pink/brown and pink/black color combos that are out for valentines day.    I'm happy to use them for every occasion.

I've been in a huge pink mood lately. So while working on some cards and going through some scraps this came together. I actually really like it. I'll probably end up putting it on etsy if I don't end up using it myself first.

Finally we had a free weekend so after we did errands and stuff we needed to catch up on I had some craft time. Using some scraps I had and new stamps for the flourishes I put this together while trying to work on a birthday card. Eventually I got there, but this came first.
