Tulips Another Way

While working on the sympathy card I need to send out I was playing with the tulip stamp and created this one a little more cheerful.

Thinking of You - Sympathy

A little over a week ago I needed to send out a sympathy card. These are always my least favorite cards to make. I find them emotionally draining and a creative challenge. The need to be subdued, understated, and supportive. This is what I came up with.

Anniversary Card

This last weekend was our anniversary and we've been super busy. So I had almost no time to put together a card. So I had to think about this one a head of time and quickly pull it together.

2 for Tea

After trying out the hero arts coffee stamps, I had a bit of time this evening to try out the tea stamp set I ordered at the same time. I wanted to make something kinda girly (being tea and all, isn't that a bit girly?) So I started by trying different colors of embossing on the tea cup, and settled in on the gold, then used purple and pink to color it in. I also really wanted to use some lace to add to the girly feel. I opted to not include any sentiments on these. I liked them just the way they were. The stamp is from the Hero Arts Tea Stamp set.

photo shoot {take 2}

I had scrapbooked these photos nearly a year ago after they were taken. Last summer while my brother and sis-in-law were out visiting my mom arranged a family photo at the beach with our favorite photographer. While we were at the beach I took a few too. I scrapbooked them and just wasn't quite happy with it. I'd left it out planning to redo it. Here's the new version that I am much happier with. I love the way this one came out.

A Double Latte!

I've had my eye on the coffee set of hero arts stamps for a little while. In my last scrapbook order I picked them up (along with the tea set!!). They came with fun puns to go along with the stamps. Like "I like you a latte!" Here are the first cards I made with the set. Still loving the The All Dressed Up matstack by Die Cuts with a View paper pack and this color combo. Thanks a latte for having a look ;)
