Cupcake cards... I can't help myself

I'm obsessed with cupcakes for birthday cards... And I gave in and bought the Maya Road Cupcake Stamps. I also used the Taylored Expressions- Fresh Flowers set for the table (another recent favorite stamp set.) And the sentiments were from studio g $1 stamps. I haven't decided which of the many girl birthdays the first card will go out to, the second is for our nephew. I'm working on making cupcakes masculine ;)

Sun & Sand

I love the pictures of kyle dipping his toes in the sand up in half moon bay. I really wanted to capture them in a layout. Here's what I came up with. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

Today is officially my husbands birthday. Here's the card I gave him, albeit not totally masculine but I like it anyway. He's been celebrating since the weekend milking it for all it's worth.

Me and MY cat

I love my kitty, but I have very few pictures of the two of us together.    (we have thousands of him alone being "cute")   So when I was messing around taking pictures and he, as he often does "helps" it was the perfect opportunity to take a picture with both of us in the frame.   It's been awhile since I've worked in 12x12, I've been doing a lot of 6x6 for a couple gift albums (pictures later).   Getting back to the larger size was actually really nice!
